NEW YORK, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - U.S. consumer confidence reached its lowest level in more than two years this month amid concerns over record-high oil prices, continued trouble in the housing market and higher inflation, according to the most recent results of the RBC CASH (Consumer Attitudes and Spending by Household) Index, which measured the attitudes of 1,005 Americans this week. Although consumer attitudes deteriorated across the board, the substantial drop in expectations contributed heavily to the sizeable decline in the overall index. As a result, the overall RBC CASH Index for November 2007 stands at 64, down more than 16 points from October's 80.6 level. .

From what I heard, there is a lot of corporate and business wrangling over Wendy in the city of Brotherly Love on Power 99 FM. I don't have specifics, but they are looking to return to Philly's airwaves asap. The only thing is, it might not be on Power 99. You know, where Wendy goes, the people go. I am pleased to announced that according to what I know, Wendy and C are going to be landing in Los Angeles later this month. That's what Beyonce calls a good look better yet a hood look.

Well, it's almost time for me to head off to Australia. Tomorrow, actually, but this might be my last chance to get in a blog before then. I will try to blog while there but won't promise. Christmas is over and it was quite a pleasant one. My son visited from Las Vegas and he said he had a good time. It looks like he is set on going back to college full time to qualify as an accountant. He did one class last semester and got an A, so it looks like he should do OK in that field. He has quite a bit of money coming to him for education from the time he spent in the United States Air Force; at least enough for about two years of college. We spent Christmas Eve morning at my wife's parents then headed to Pensacola Beach, Florida to where my wife's sister and family live. Lots of gifts were handed around and we all ate and drank too much.

"I always was vain, Bismarchi, 36, acknowledges at the medical clinic near Rio where her plastic surgeon husband has operated on her 10 times. "And for carnival, you have to feel especially pretty. I consider myself quite timid. I'm just a little girl grown big." Just days before Brazil's Feb. 2 to 6 carnival begins, Bismarchi will have nylon wires implanted in her eyes to give them an Asian slant, in line with this year's theme of her samba group, Porto da Pedra: the centennial of Japanese immigration to Brazil.

I've been watching F1 for 39 years, I didn't go ape about James Hunt - Lauda was the superior driver in that tussle. I wasn't swept up in the Nigel / Damon bandwagons and think that Button will always be a 'nearly' man. However LH is a totally different proposition. His consumate, calm skill puts him way in front of the rest of his contemporaries. For the record (for the benefit of our Iberian friends) but for team tactics (NOT orders!) he would have won at Monaco. Furthermore, I think that Alonso should be grateful to LH for sorting the McLaren so effectively both in in winter testing and over the 06 season, rather than the reverse. No one in the UK is saying Lewis must win, those of us who have seen a few things can see the mark of brilliance that has few competitors and will carry on improving.
